Finding Inspiration: Back to Nature
If you’re having an eco-friendly wedding, chances are that you love nature. There is no shortage of inspiration in the forests, meadows, oceans, and mountains of Planet Earth and yet, when the time comes to plan the biggest day of your life, you may feel somewhat overwhelmed. Where do you start? How do you incorporate the vast beauty of nature into a finite event with a limited budget? How can you possibly choose a theme that incorporates all of your favorite shapes and textures? Color is another challenge: there are so many hues in the natural world, how do you limit yourself to just a few? These are all difficult choices but if you look to nature while looking within, you’ll find the shapes, colors, and objects that matter most. Before you begin, make a list of all of your favorites: animals, flowers, landscapes, and colors. Ask your partner to do the same. When you combine lists, look for the overlap.
